Imagination and Inspiration

Imagination and inspiration are tools of the mind.
Imagination is the most basic form of thinking.
Inspiration creates that wonderful version of desired goal.
*Think about the possibilities.
*Think about the rewards.
Combined, they enrich the mind to reach goals, regardless of where we are now.
They are motivating forces that can transform life.
The right choices will ultimately bless you.
Positive expectations bring positive results.
"If you can dream it, you can do it".
-Walt Disney

Imagination and Inspiration

Ideas and opportunities are formulated by the magic of imagination and inspiration.
They inspire innovation and visualize the end result.
Combined, they create the magnet to move the individual to step out of their comfort zone by taking that first step.
Imagination and inspiration can carry an individual through all kinds of difficulties and setbacks to move forward.
And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
Mark 9:23 ESV

Goal-Setting

Goals provide the energy to keep one focused.
Complicated goals can be broken down into smaller step-by-step sub-goals.
Imagination and inspiration overcomes inertia (a tendency to do nothing) and build confidence with each sub-goal achieved.
Plans provide the resources needed to reach a goal.
Initiative makes things happen through:
1. Discipline
*Self-control over actions and reactions.
2. Action
*Wishes stay that way unless we do something to make them come true.
3. Persistence
*Follow through despite obstacles or setbacks.
Examples of initiative include:
*innovative thinking
*goal-setting
*problem-solving
*creativity
"The starting point of all achievement is desire".
-Napoleon Hill

Personal Self-Development

Personal self-development means personal growth.
It guides an individual to gain knowledge, improve talents, establish health goals, develop employable skills, and to build assets for financial freedom.
Personal self-development increases self-awareness and fulfills desired aspirations.
It offers new challenges, new experiences and a clear direction to:
*Learn and improve.
*Live the ideal lifestyle.
“If something that you’re doing doesn’t challenge you, then it doesn’t change you.”
"The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do."
-Unknown

Balance

Too much or too little destroys the equilibrium of life.
Balance brings harmony and relief to all aspects of life.
It is necessary for moving forward and to finding fulfillment.
Peace of mind brings inner calm that radiates contentment.
Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.
-Thomas Merton

Simple Pleasures

Beauty inspires a deeper sense of being a part of something greater than we could ever imagine.
Even in its most simple form, it blesses the soul with a joy that lasts forever.
Whether we look at the breathtaking wonders of nature, feel the golden rays of sunlight or enjoy the peacefulness of the morning with birds happily chirping their wonderful songs, it brings an unending joy that remains in one's memory.
A serene village landscape with its rolling hills and valleys beyond, inspire our imagination, even for a fleeting moment.
A humble monastery offers solitude and peace of mind in the midst of its few icons, radiates holiness to satisfy the deepest longings of the soul.
Our world responds to the way in which we think, feel, believe, behave and act.
Culture and self-education enrich the mind through life-long learning experiences.
Self-Education
A self-education mindset is an investment one makes for the future.
It helps the individual to grow intellectually, develop better attitudes and to get-ahead in life.
Books
We read books for enjoyment and relaxation.
*We can learn about specific interests.
*Satisfy a desire for knowledge.
Reading books broadens the imagination and provides a continuous source of inspiration.
Culture
Culture is basically a way of life that characterizes a society.
It is found in the language, religion, history, legends, traditions and food that shape the values and character of its people.
Cultural activities such as art, music, dancing, literature and food help us to find new ways to get in touch with all our senses.
We can learn a new language, enjoy cooking traditional food and learn about a way of life of other cultures.
There is the history of the past, cultural landmarks, natural beauties, architectural masterpieces and sculpture that help to gain an appreciation of different cultures.
Photography
Photography engages the imagination of the keen photographer through the creativity of their camera.
They can visually tell a story and capture the beauty of a place through wonderful images that inspire.
Hobbies
Hobbies provide a healthy and enriching diversity through a favorite pastime during leisure hours.
Almost every popular pastime is served by its own special magazine and organization.
Gardening
Out in the clean, fresh air, the keen gardener tends to their home garden, providing them with a satisfying respite from the routine of every day life.
You may find flowers mingling with lush vegetable patches, herbs spilling out of pots to add that special flavor to home-grown produce that is nutritionally superior.
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
~ 1 Peter 3:3-4

Divine Inspiration

jesuscross.png

Peace of mind, a clear conscience and spiritual inspiration can only be found in God and Jesus Christ.
Divine inspiration connects us to a Higher Power.
God becomes our refuge and the Lord of our heart.
Jesus Christ is our companion in our "daily walk in life."
We go to church to hear the Voice of God through Liturgy and the Sacraments.
Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd leads His flock to greener pastures.
Humble people acknowledge Jesus Christ as the King of their world.
We go to church to enjoy the richness of Christian fellowship.
Easter
Every Good Friday, the devout Christian will retrace the Footsteps of Jesus Christ along the road of His Passion and Crucifixion in a spirit of sincere reverence and faith.
Christmas
Home is where the heart is with those we love at Christmas to celebrate the Birth of our dear Lord, Jesus Christ with those we love.
Christmas also has its own traditional pageantry, customs, music and gift-giving that brings out the best in all of us.
Children around the world excitedly look forward for the arrival of Father Christmas (Santa Claus) on a sleigh pulled by reindeer in the early hours of Christmas morning to place presents in Christmas stockings, by their beds and around the Christmas tree.
New Year's Resolutions
Most people look forward to make every New Year a better one.
Goals are a pathway to self-fulfillment.
Successful people are goal orientated, they have initiative, drive and confidence to go all the way to reach out for their dreams.
Faith gives you an inner strength and a sense of balance and perspective in life.
