Spiritual Life
Jesus Knocking on the Door symbolizes the transition from secularism (indifference to or rejection of spiritual realities) to God's Presence.
Those spiritual realities are:
*God exists.
*Jesus Christ is our Savior.
*There is an eternal, Heavenly Kingdom.
In John 10:7-10, Jesus said, “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved”
Through Jesus, we return to our Heavenly Father with a special blessing - the forgiveness of all sins.
Revelation 3:20 ("Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me", KJV)
Institutions that affect society are:
*The family
*The church
*The government.
Each are responsible for building a good society dominated by wholesome families, common decency and where authority is respected.
Sadly, there are rogues in government and radicals who can't seem to identify between what is good and what is bad.
These people destroy society.
Their ideology is reflected in loose standards, rootlessness, dysfunction and self-destructive behaviors that manifest in immorality, addictions, violence and evil.
Corruption in government makes the people less spiritual.
Evil ideologies have caused:
*the loss of principles that lead to the good society
*human beings to become puppets
Isaiah 5:20 says, ”Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”
A humble home, filled with the Love of God possesses a radiance beyond description.
It is the epitome of the traditional family who have strong cultural and spiritual values.
Caring parents and children abide here, in an atmosphere that is spiritually enriched with faith, piety and tranquility.
This family will always open their door to Jesus Christ Who becomes their Lord and Savior.
Jesus promises in Hebrews 13-5: "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
The family is a fundamental institution of human society.
Every traditional family preserves:
*The treasures of their unique culture.
*The spiritual traditions of their Christian faith.
The family is the first place where children learn about love, faith and the values of cultural citizenship of the society they have inherited from generations past.
Fortunate is the child "brought up" on God's Law's
Children "brought up" on Christian values and virtues are blessed with the moral and ethical values to follow throughout life.
God's Power Can:
*Influence people through love and compassion.

*Govern what is important in life through values.
*Provide the positive choices to live a wholesome existence.

-King David
Sunday, the Seventh Day, is given to mankind by God to devote time to their spiritual needs.

When the church bell tolls, the Christian faithful go to church to hear the Voice of God through Liturgy and the Sacraments and to find Jesus the Savior.
This service is seen as a re-enactment of the Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the means by which we achieve union with God and with each other.
Peace of mind can only be found through God and Jesus Christ.
As the old hymn, "There's a Friend for little children" says:
Our earthly friends may fail us,
And change with changing years,
This Friend is always worthy
Of that dear Name He bears.
Jesus love is everlasting.
He invites the weary and the worried: "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
Matthew 11:28-29
When we seek God, we find His Path to Righteousness.
When we study the Bible (God's Word) we find God our Creator and Jesus our Savior.
With Jesus, we receive salvation through the Grace of God.
Repentance and forgiveness must be embedded in your heart to gain the Gift of Salvation.
The Fear of God:
