The Heavenly Kingdom of God is the spiritual dwelling place of our dear Lord, Jesus Christ, our Blessed Virgin Mary, the Saints, Prophets and Angels.
When Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36) He is referring to God's Heavenly Kingdom, the eternal home of God's people.
Jesus Christ came to prepare humanity for the life to come after physical life has ended.
His Crucifixion on the Cross and His Resurrection, two of the most important events in Christian history, provided salvation to everlasting life through the forgiveness of our sins.
The Heavenly Kingdom of God is a major theme throughout the four Gospels of the Bible.
John the Baptist preached in the wilderness of Judea saying, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."
Since the Enlightenment (Intellectual movement of the late 17th and 18th centuries emphasizing reason and individualism) man has been gradually moving away from God.
*Our lives have no destiny.
*Our lives have meaning, a purpose and an eternal destiny.
For the atheist, there is "no hope" in God's Heavenly Kingdom because they believe that life reaches a dead-end.
"To say that man can exist without God is to say that a watch can exist without a watchmaker."
(William Paley 1743 – 1805)
Every culture throughout history has believed that there is a Higher Power and that life will continue to exist after physical death.
Natural instinct in the spiritual sense, is a part of human nature to look beyond the range of physical human experience.
Saint Paul says this instinct was placed in the human-being by God Himself.
The Book of Deuteronomy (4:29) says that if we seek God with all our heart and soul, we will find Him.
Natural instinct opens our "spiritual eyes" to a transcendent power that is completely independent of all the physical laws to believe that there must be something more than the pain and suffering of this life, something more than living a lifetime with family, having lifelong friendships, getting an education and working only to have it all end with death and oblivion.
Transcendence makes us feel connected to a Higher Power.
That Higher Power is God!
We cannot see the spiritual soul.
Christianity gives humanity a reason to life in this world and in the everlasting world to come.
The soul is the link between the physical body and the spiritual self.
Earth is the physical dimension of God's Kingdom in this life.
When the physical body dies, the spiritual soul immediate goes into the Presence of the Lord in the Heavenly Kingdom of God.
The Heavenly Kingdom of God is our eternal destiny where we will finally realize our full spiritual potential.
"One thing I seek-to live in the Presence of the Lord-all the days of my life and, to behold God's Beauty".
God is an Invisible, Spiritual Force.
Heaven is a Spiritual World.
The Existence of God focuses on Two Arguments:
1. The Cosmological Argument states that all things must have a cause, and that the chain of causes can only come about through a Higher Power.
2. The Design Argument says that everything man-made comes to life through intelligence and design.
Is it possible that non-intelligence can produce the wonders of life, nature and the universe?
"For every house is built by someone, but God is the Builder of everything."
-Hebrews 3:4 (NIV)
God's Power works in us through faith.
With Faith we:
*Live God's way.
*Have hope to endure the challenges of life.
*Gain peace of mind that can only be found in God and Jesus Christ.
"Weave in faith and God will find the thread."
Dr. Raymond Moody Jr is a psychologist and medical doctor, famous as the world's leading authority and author of books about life after death.
Near-death experiences is a term that he coined in 1975 in his best-selling book Life After Life.
Dr. Raymond Moody has investigated people who experienced "clinical death" and were subsequently revived.
Those who have been to the "other side" (the Heavenly Kingdom of God) came back with striking similarity experiences of evidence that there is life after physical death.
They reluctantly came back to give people who want to believe, the reason to hope in the Heavenly Kingdom of God.
They returned, more humble, less materialistic and not afraid of death.
"From the very beginning (of my afterlife studies) I was hearing people with experiences, some of whom had not been religious and some of whom were, and whatever they had been before, afterward there seemed to be a sort of commonality, which is the understanding that yes, there is a God," Doctor Moody said.
The moment a person dies the soul heads for the Heavenly Kingdom.of God
Visions of the afterlife have been recorded throughout history.
Near-death experiences of those whose lives were saved by medical efforts are recorded.
People worldwide, who were clinically dead and were saved, overwhelmingly believe in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
Children too young to know about death or the afterlife have all reported consistent experiences.
People who were revived contain similar experiences.
They describe how their souls left their bodies and traveled toward a brilliant, white light and found themselves in a beautiful, breathtaking Paradise.
They experienced love, peace of mind and a sense of belonging.
There was joyous reunion with family and friends who had already gone before.
They were given a choice to stay or return to their earthly lives.
Countless videos, articles and books have been written over the years about Near Death Experiences by highly respected professionals.
Jesus said, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die".
People who have had Near Death Experiences all say that their soul is resurrected with a sound mind, intellect and emotions in The Heavenly Kingdom of God.
Many are presented with a review of everything they have ever done in life.
They are given spiritual gifts to enjoy in their new eternal life in the Heavenly Kingdom of God.
They experience a youthful rejuvination beyond description.
And, there is no sickness, sadness or pain.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the LORD forever.
