When all we Have is God

wg1.jpg

When all we have is God in times of loss, hardship or loneliness, God's Presence offers refuge, strength and a purpose for the future as highlighted by verse John 14:8, "If God is all you have, you have all you need".
When all we Have is God, His Provision provides everything one needs, both physically (food, shelter) and spiritually (guidance, peace of mind and salvation), demonstrating His everlasting love and faithfulness to reshape life for achieving one's aspirations through opportunities and new experiences.
The Blessed days of God are a journey of life in humility, goodness and service with an everlasting destiny.
God blesses those who keep His Commandments, serve His people and who walk humbly through life.
Awe and wonder begins with God's Creations.
Acknowledge God's Omnipresence by seeing His Handiwork in the universe and the intricate life forms that emphasize He created everything in Heaven and on earth.
Along the way, we gain inspiration with God-Fearing people and learn spiritual realities beyond this world that we could never imagine.
World Without God
When a society abandons the spiritual needs of its people, they are led toward spiritual blindness.
An "empty soul" does not have the "Fear of God" in their hearts.
A world without God is deprived of spiritual values and realities.
A world without God brings forth philosophies such as atheism, agnosticism, secular humanism and antitheism.
Secularism and godlessness has distorted what is good and wholesome.
Junk culture can never create a happy home, a wholesome family or a responsible society.

A Moment in Time
There comes a moment when one realizes that the friends they had, suddenly disappear, when the money they worked so hard for is lost, when the people they trusted turn silent and they find themselves staring into uncertainty.
The loss of a spouse or family member bring debilitating effects of immense grief that can affect one emotionally, physically, and mentally in profound ways.
A common theme among people who have lost their spouse is the feeling of being alone and incomplete in the world that suddenly looks different.
We turn to God to find a sense of purpose, even when circumstances are uncertain.
When all we Have is God
Loneliness
Loneliness arises from a lack meaningful connection to others.
Sudden life changes such as losing a loved one, divorce, moving house, change of job, retirement, few authentic relationships or health issues such as depression, anxiety or low self-esteem create barriers to connection.
Discrimination, a disability, or internal struggles create negative emotions that can cause a downward spiral.
Yet, even if we feel like we're all alone, God is with us (Psalm 23:4).
When all we Have is God
Social Bonding
Social bonding is crucial for overall well-being.
Good friends accept you for who you are.
They stay with you during the good times and the bad.
Close-knit friends are the genuine friendships that last forever forged with the bonds of mutual affection and a wealth of happiness and carefree days as well as trust and support that knows no bounds.
Community
We were created for community by God for a fulfilling life centered around God (worship), attending church services (fellowship) and serving others (ministry).

Inner Spiritual Self
When all we Have is God
The inner spiritual self represents the soul.
The soul connects you to Divine spiritual realities.
Those realities are:
*God exists
Art of Creation
Everything man-made comes to life through intelligence and design.
Is it possible that non-intelligence can produce the wonders of life, nature and the universe?
"For every house is built by someone, but God is the Builder of everything."
Hebrews 3:4 (NIV)
Steps Needed to Make a Loaf of Bread
Plowing, seeding, harvesting, binding sheaves, beating the grains, winnowing, separating, grinding into flour, sifting, adding milk, eggs and yeast, kneading and then baking until it gets to the kitchen table.
Isaiah said, "Lift up your eyes on high and behold, Who hath Created these things...by the Greatness of His Might".
When all we Have is God
*Jesus Christ is our Savior
Jesus Christ is our Savior, saving humanity from sin, death, and separation from God through His sacrificial Death and Resurrection.
He offers forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life.
He provides a path to a transformed life of purpose by the "renewing of your mind" to align with spiritual values and faith that absorbs the mind and soul with the spiritual inspiration of God's Beauty, within, around and above.
*There is an eternal, Heavenly Kingdom
When Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36) He was referring to God's Heavenly Kingdom, the eternal home of our dear Lord, Jesus Christ, our Blessed Virgin Mary, the Saints, the Prophets and all God's people.
His Resurrection represents victory over death and everlasting life in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
With faith, we have a sense that there is Something beyond this life and Someone beyond this world.
The moment a person dies the soul heads for the heavenly Kingdom of God.
They arrive with sound mind, intellect and emotions.
The spiritual soul will be resurrected with spiritual gifts to a new and everlasting life.
They are reunited with loved ones who have already gone before and, they will meet God and Jesus Christ.
Negative aspects of earthly life will disappear.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the LORD forever.
- Psalm 23:6

Spiritual Growth

wg11.jpg

When all we Have is God
Adversity often forces individuals to confront questions about the meaning of life and may serve as a precursor to "elevation" (spiritual growth) drawing parallels to Biblical figures like Moses in the desert or Jesus in the wilderness.
Motivation and resilience overcomes obstacles to persevere toward a goal.
Divine Testing
Other examples of Divine Testing in the Bible include:
God tested Abraham when asked to sacrifice Isaac (Genesis 22:1), Joseph through trials before his promotion (Psalm 105:19), Israel in the wilderness (Deuteronomy 8:16) and Gideon's soldiers before battle (Judges 7:4).
Spiritual growth is marked by increased faith that manifest in thoughts, words and deeds that make a positive impact on others and personal growth to reframe a challenge into opportunity and transforms perceived roadblocks into chances for growth and understanding.
Stepping outside our comfort zone is essential for personal growth, learning and achieving goals.
The important thing about opportunity is the individual who:
*Takes it when it comes along.
*Sets out to look for it.
"Opportunities don't happen. You create them."
-Chris Grosser
A feeling of pride and satisfaction comes with successfully reaching a goal.
Psalm 46:1 ("God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble") and Psalm 91, highlights God as the ultimate Protector where one can find solace and strength through faith.
God's Presence acts as an anchor from life's storms to cover all our emotional and spiritual needs refining character to endure and grow stronger in faith to achieve spiritual prosperity.
When all we Have is God
Living God's Way
God's Power Can:
*Influence people through love and compassion.
*Guide the conscience to what is right and what is wrong.
*Govern what is important in life through values.
*Provide the positive choices to live a wholesome existence.
"One thing I seek - to live in the Presence of the Lord - all the days of my life and, to behold God's Beauty".
-King David
Jesus Christ says, "This is the way to a meaningful, just and wholesome existence".
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
Walk in the light of Jesus Christ by turning away from darkness (sin) towards God's holy Character (light).
Align your life through contribution, growth and serving your family, church and community.
Love God and love others in thoughts, words, and actions that shape positive relationships and experiences.
